Questions, answered

How does an NFC business card work?

The card has a small NFC chip inside. When someone holds their phone near it, the phone opens your Cardly.ae digital card in the browser — with your contact details, WhatsApp, links and a button to save your contact. No app is needed on either phone.

Does it work with iPhone and Android?

Yes. iPhone XS and newer read NFC cards automatically when the screen is on. Most Android phones read them when NFC is turned on in settings. For older phones, your digital card also has a QR code and a shareable link.

Do I need a subscription?

No. The NFC card is a one-time purchase and works with a free Cardly.ae digital card on the Free plan, with no time limit. Pro is an optional upgrade if you want premium themes, full analytics or several cards.

What if my details change?

Just edit your digital card — the NFC card always opens the latest version. You can also re-link the card to a different digital card from your dashboard, without reprinting anything.

How long does delivery take?

Everything is made to order: personalised items are dispatched within 1–3 working days of your design approval, and stickers within 1–3 working days of your order. After dispatch, Express delivery arrives the next working day in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi (AED 35), and Standard delivery takes 2–4 working days anywhere in the UAE (AED 20, free on orders of AED 199 or more). We email your tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Can I return my card?

Personalised cards are made to order, so they can’t be returned for a change of mind. If a card is faulty or misprinted, we’ll replace it or refund you. See our refund policy for the details. Refund policy

Can I order for my team or add our logo?

Yes. You can add your logo to any NFC business card once your payment is confirmed, when you approve your card design. For bulk orders, custom designs and team management, talk to our sales team — we’ll prepare a quote for your company.

Is an NFC business card the same as a smart business card?

Yes. NFC business card, smart business card and tap business card all describe the same thing: a physical card with an NFC chip that opens your digital card when a phone touches it. The digital card itself, sometimes called an e-business card, is the page that opens, with your contact details, WhatsApp, links and a save-contact button. You can use the digital card on its own for free; the NFC card makes it quicker to share in person.
