Metal NFC business card

AED 249

A metal NFC business card from Cardly.ae costs AED 249 one-time, engraved with your name and title in a black, gold or silver finish, dispatched in 1–3 working days and delivered across the UAE. One tap opens your Cardly.ae digital card.

Personalise your card

Colour: Black finish

Printed exactly as typed. Arabic names are supported. 0/40

Optional

It opens the same digital card as the NFC chip, so phones without NFC can scan it — and it follows the chip if you switch digital cards later.

Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll see a proof of your card on your order page. It goes into production only after you approve the design.

Want your logo instead of your initials? Upload it on your order page once payment is confirmed, when you approve the design.

Why choose a metal card

Weight people notice

A metal card feels heavier and more solid than plastic the moment you hand it over, and your name and title are engraved rather than printed, so the lettering holds up to daily handling. Choose a black, gold or silver finish.

Tapping a metal card

It works with iPhone XS and newer, which read NFC whenever the screen is on, and with Android phones that have NFC switched on. Hold the card flat against the phone for a second. If a tap doesn’t register, try the other side or the other end: some metal cards read best from one spot, and once you’ve found it, it works the same way every time.

Who it suits, and how to look after it

Metal suits senior roles and client-facing professionals in property, finance, law and executive teams — anywhere a first impression counts. Keep it in a cardholder away from keys and coins so the finish doesn’t scratch, and wipe off fingerprints with a soft, dry cloth.

FAQ

Metal NFC card questions

Is this a metal business card or an NFC card?

Both. It’s a metal business card with your name and title engraved on the front, and it has an NFC chip that opens your Cardly.ae digital card when someone taps it with their phone. You can hand it over like a traditional card, or let people tap it and keep it.

Does a metal NFC card work with iPhone?

Yes. iPhone XS and newer read it automatically whenever the screen is on — hold the card near the top edge of the phone. iPhone 7, 8 and X can read it with the NFC Tag Reader in Control Center. Android phones read it when NFC is switched on.

Why does metal cost more than PVC?

The metal and its engraved finish cost more to make. The NFC chip, the digital card and the features are the same on every Cardly.ae card, so you’re paying for the weight, the finish and how the card feels — not for extra functions. Our PVC card opens exactly the same digital card.

Can I order metal cards for my whole team?

Yes. One checkout takes up to 20 different names and 100 items in total. For a larger team, contact our sales team for a quote. Each card can carry your company logo: upload it once your payment is confirmed, when you approve the card design. With Cardly.ae for Teams you can also manage everyone’s digital cards from one dashboard.

What if my job title changes?

Update your digital card in seconds: the metal card always opens the latest version. The engraving itself can’t be changed, so you can keep using the card as it is or order a new one with your new title.

Can I have Arabic and English on the same card?

Yes. Add the same name and title in the other language when you order, and both are engraved on the front. You can also add a QR code on the back that opens the same digital card as the NFC chip. Before we engrave anything, you approve a proof of the design.
