How Cardly.ae compares products and checks prices
Cardly.ae is a vendor: we compare products we compete with. This page explains where every figure on our comparison and price pages comes from, how we keep it current, and how to tell us when something is wrong.

Who writes our comparisons?
Our comparison pages and price guides are written and checked by the Cardly.ae team at Meta Pro Solutions, the company that runs Cardly.ae. We make one of the products we compare, so read them as a vendor's comparison, not an independent review. That is also why every competitor figure shows its source and the date we checked it, and why we say plainly when another product costs less or does something Cardly.ae doesn't do yet.
Where do the prices and facts come from?
We use the most direct public source available, in this order:
- The vendor's own website: its pricing page, feature pages or help centre.
- The vendor's app store listings: the Apple App Store (US and UAE storefronts, with the billing period exactly as the listing labels it) and Google Play. We don't publish an App Store price whose billing period isn't stated.
- For NFC cards and paper business cards sold in the UAE, the seller's or print shop's own website, at the price listed for the option we describe, and occasionally a marketplace (Amazon.ae), which we name as such. Bulk prices say how many cards they apply to, or that the seller doesn't state a quantity.
Cardly.ae's own prices come from the same price list our checkout charges. We don't use third-party reviews, forum posts or estimates as sources for another company's prices or features.
How are prices shown?
- Every competitor figure links to its source and shows the date we last checked it.
- Each comparison shows a “Prices checked” date: the oldest check date among the figures on that page.
- Prices are shown in the currency the source uses. Where we convert US dollars to dirhams, we use the dirham's fixed exchange rate to the US dollar and mark the result “≈”.
- App Store prices differ by country and can change without notice, so we name the storefront (US or UAE) next to each one.
How often are the figures re-checked?
Every month. We re-check each competitor figure against its source, update its check date, and correct or remove anything we can no longer confirm. If a vendor changes a price between checks, the page shows the older figure until the next check — or until someone tells us.
What we never do
- Rank products or name an overall “best”. We explain which product fits which need instead.
- Show star ratings or review scores — for Cardly.ae or anyone else.
- Accept payment from any company to be included, placed higher or left out.
- Invent statistics, testimonials or customer numbers.
