What's the best digital business card app in the UAE? It depends on what matters to you: an Arabic interface, paying in dirhams, an NFC card delivered locally, a useful free plan or team features. Each app makes different trade-offs, so instead of ranking them, this guide puts the facts side by side and says who each one suits.

Short answer: Cardly.ae and ScaanMe offer an Arabic interface. If you also want to pay in dirhams on the web and have NFC cards delivered in the UAE, Cardly.ae (our own product) does both. On price, Linq Pro is AED 18.99–24.99/month or AED 192.99/year and Popl Pro Yearly is AED 184.99/year in the UAE App Store, both below Cardly.ae Pro at AED 25/month or AED 199/year. If you want Apple or Google Wallet passes, Blinq, HiHello, Popl and ScaanMe include them.

Prices checked on 13 October 2026. Every competitor figure links to the vendor's own pricing page, App Store listing or help centre, and the list of sources at the end gives the date we checked each one. The apps are listed alphabetically, and we don't award stars, scores or ranks. Read how we research and update these comparisons.

Cardly.ae is our own product.

What should you check before choosing an app?

  1. An Arabic interface, not just Arabic text. Some apps let you type Arabic into fields while the app stays in English and the card reads left to right. If you or your clients read Arabic, look for an Arabic interface and right-to-left cards. In this table, that's Cardly.ae and ScaanMe.
  2. The currency you'll pay in. Global apps usually price in US dollars on their websites. If you subscribe in their iPhone app in the UAE, you pay in AED at App Store prices instead, which can be higher or lower than the web price.
  3. Whether the NFC card is part of the offer. Some apps sell their own cards, some expect you to use an NFC tag you already own, and some don't publish delivery times to the UAE. Whichever you choose, the card should also carry a QR code for phones that don't respond to a tap.
  4. What the free plan really includes. Compare the number of cards, how much analytics history you keep and whether the card carries the app's branding.
  5. Team minimums. Team plans often start at a minimum number of seats or cards, so a three-person office can end up paying for more people than it has. Check the minimum in the table before you compare per-seat prices.
  6. The extras you rely on. Apple or Google Wallet passes, native mobile apps and direct CRM sync vary from app to app. Cardly.ae doesn't offer wallet passes or a native app yet.

Which app suits which need?

Choose Blinq if…

  • You want Apple or Google Wallet passes on every plan, including the free one.
  • Your sales team works in a CRM: Blinq offers native CRM integrations, plus Zapier and an API.
  • You'd like native iPhone and Android apps.
  • You want to start free: Blinq's free plan includes 2 digital cards.
  • You don't need an Arabic interface.

Choose Cardly.ae if…

  • You or your clients prefer Arabic: the interface is fully Arabic, and one card switches between Arabic and English.
  • You want to pay in dirhams on the web: Pro is AED 25/month or AED 199/year, with a 14-day free trial.
  • You want an NFC card sold and delivered in the UAE: PVC, bamboo and metal from AED 99, dispatched within 1–3 working days.
  • You're a small team: Teams start at 3 seats, at AED 180 per seat per year.
  • WhatsApp is how your clients reach you: add your WhatsApp number and your card shows a WhatsApp button up front.

Cardly.ae isn't the right fit if you need Apple or Google Wallet passes, a native mobile app or direct CRM sync. It doesn't offer those yet, and leads are exported as a CSV file.

Choose HiHello if…

  • You want several cards on a free plan: HiHello's includes 4 digital cards.
  • You'd like email signatures and virtual meeting backgrounds bundled with your card.
  • Your company uses Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics: HiHello Business connects to them.
  • You already own an NFC tag: HiHello doesn't sell cards, but you can write your card to your own tag.

Choose Linq if…

  • You want a lower subscription price than Cardly.ae Pro: Linq Pro is AED 18.99–24.99/month or AED 192.99/year in the UAE App Store.
  • You want a mobile CRM for your team: Linq One is US$29 per user per month or US$249 per user per year.
  • You'd like a Linq Card from Linq's online shop (from US$14.99) and don't mind that it doesn't publish a delivery time to the UAE.

Choose Popl if…

  • You capture leads at events: Popl presents itself as an event lead-capture platform.
  • You'd rather have one quoted plan that covers your whole team, with no per-seat price.
  • You pay yearly: Popl Pro Yearly is AED 184.99/year in the UAE App Store, slightly below Cardly.ae Pro at AED 199/year.

Bear in mind that Popl sells accessories to individuals only through its Amazon store, which ships within the US.

Choose ScaanMe if…

  • You want an Arabic interface: ScaanMe is built Arabic-first, like Cardly.ae.
  • You already own an NFC card and want to link it free.
  • You'd like a wallet pass on the free plan, or a WhatsApp store, QR menu or booking page alongside your card.
  • You'd rather add cards one at a time, with no team minimum: extra cards are US$4/month each on any paid plan.

ScaanMe prices its plans in US dollars: Pro is US$7.99/month (≈ AED 29.34) or US$79.99/year.

Choose a local NFC card seller if…

  • You mainly want the physical card and would rather pay once. Check what the card's online profile includes, whether any features need a subscription later, and how long delivery takes.

Can I pay for a digital business card app in dirhams?

Is there a free digital business card app?

Yes, several. Cardly.ae's Free plan includes 1 bilingual card, with no time limit. The others' free plans, as each vendor lists them: Blinq: Free plan with two digital cards. HiHello: Free forever, with 4 digital cards. Popl: Free tier for individuals, alongside Pro and Pro+. ScaanMe: Lite: free, with 1 digital card and 1 wallet pass. We couldn't verify whether Linq has a free plan. Free plans usually limit analytics, branding or the number of cards, so compare what each includes.

Which apps sell NFC cards delivered in the UAE?

Cardly.ae sells PVC, bamboo and metal NFC cards, delivered across the UAE and dispatched within 1–3 working days. For the others, as each one publishes it: Blinq: Cards from US$24.99; custom cards US$59.99–79.99, printed in the USA; UAE delivery time not published. HiHello: Doesn't sell NFC cards; you write your card to your own NFC tag. Linq: Linq Card from US$14.99 (custom US$34.99; metal US$39.99–59.99) at buy.linqapp.com; UAE delivery time not published. Popl: Quote only — one plan covers the whole team, with no per-seat price. ScaanMe: No team minimum: extra cards US$4/month each on any paid plan; a quotation from 100 cards. The table above shows each app's minimum.

Which apps offer Apple or Google Wallet passes?

Blinq, HiHello, Popl and ScaanMe include Apple or Google Wallet passes. Cardly.ae doesn't create wallet passes yet: its cards are shared by NFC, QR code or link and saved straight to contacts. We couldn't verify whether Linq offers them.

Why is the App Store price different from the website price?

Apps set their App Store prices separately for each country's storefront, and the UAE storefront charges in AED, so the in-app price can be higher or lower than the US-dollar web price converted at the peg. For example, Popl Pro Yearly is AED 184.99/year in the UAE App Store, while Popl Pro is US$76.99/year (≈ AED 282.75) in the US App Store.

How did you choose the apps in this comparison?

We included Cardly.ae and apps whose prices and features we could check at the source: Blinq, HiHello, Linq, Popl and ScaanMe. Where a figure isn't published or we couldn't verify it, the table shows “—”. Other apps you may come across, such as OVOU, V1CE, Wave and Tapt, aren't listed yet because we couldn't source their prices, Arabic support and UAE delivery the same way. We make one of the products, so we re-check every figure monthly; if something has changed, email hello@cardly.ae.
